There are and dozens of varieties of birds including hawks in all the local forests. Hundreds of swallows, house martins and swifts are buzzing around in the summer months. Set in the quiet hamlet of La Ville Tremal, in Brittany, just four miles from the local village, with all amenities, small shops, butchers, bakers, fuel and Ploermel is only 20 minutes away, our main shopping town with all types of shops and supermarkets.
Fifteen miles from the picturesque medieval town of Josselin, with its 16th century chateau, on the banks of the river Oust on the Nante Brest canal. In this market town the visitor will find a good range of shops which cater for all normal requirements and tourist information office.
GITE HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION
The Gite sleeps up to 8 people and is fully equipped to a high standard with ample parking space.
The lounge has a fully tiled floor with rugs, settee, armchairs and ample cupboard space. There is a radio, record and cassette player. There is a large log burner in the lounge for winters stays and cool summer evenings. (Logs are extra.) (Central Heating supplement 10% of rental.)
The kitchen has a fully tiled floor, fully fitted with gas cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and all kitchen utensils and fitted units.

A utility room with washing machine, freezer, iron and ironing board, brooms dustpan etc etc. .

All bedrooms are carpeted, with bedside lamps hanging space etc. Pillows, duvets, blankets, bed linen and towels are all provided. We can provide a cot and high chair etc. on request.
Garden:There is an extensive garden to the rear with garden furniture for enjoying the sun or alfresco dining.
The Area :
There are nearby connections by both sea and air with the nearest airports being Dinard, Rennes and Brest.
The port of St. Malo is only about one hours drive, enabling easy access from the Channel Islands, one and a half hours from Roscoff, two to three hours from Caen, Le Havre and Cherbourg.
We recommend that visitors have the use of a car to explore the area and travel to and from their arrival point. However, transport from the ports or airports can be arranged.
It is a perfectly situated base for touring Brittany with its historic chateaux, customs, Breton cuisine, craftshops, and beautiful coastline where there are many safe coves and beaches. The town of Vannes on the Golf du Morbihan is full of old world charm mixed with sailing and boating for those more energetic and is only 40 minutes drive away.
There are two large lakes, the Lac au Duc has sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing and canoeing, as well as fishing. There are picnic sites, walking and cycling is popular for those who enjoy the quiet life, with Route Verte, (cycling tracks).
